I bought a Philips GoGear Fitdot, but I have a MacBook. I can put music on it, but when I delete the music from the device it doesn't really delete it.

It might be possible that you'll have to issue the sync command for the manager to send the command to the device and delete the files in question.
Also, check the connection between the your PC and the device. On your device, you need to set the connection mode to MTP. This allows Mac or Windows to recognize the device. If it's possible access the files from Mac or Windows directly without the GoGear Device Manager.

This could indicate a problem with your current hardware. But if it's a firmware problem, then I recommend installing latest firmware available. To do this, visit the URL below and download the Software Upgrade package. There are also documents and instructions on how to do it. Just click the links on the left to browse available documents.

The Rhapsody product comes on the CD with many Philips audio devices. In order to fix the problem, try uninstalling the program from your computer and then run a registry cleaner to make sure that there are no leftover registry keys in your system. After that, install it again and check if it is working. If it is not working, I recommend you contact Philips support team and Rhapsody.
I received an error. It tells me to check the (C:) > Program Files > Philips > GoGear Device Manager > Main.exe log file for details.

In order to solve the error, uninstall the program using its uninstaller or Add or Remove Programs issue and download and install the latest version available. Also, after the removing process is complete, run a registry cleaner to make sure that there are no leftover rogue registry keys in your system.
Alternatively, go to the location suggested by the error, right-click on the log file and open it in Notepad. After that, contact the Philips Support team and send them the error information.
